Dr. Adrienne Hou, a Southern California native, earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, before obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
With interests in preventative care, animal behavior, and welfare, Dr. Hou is committed to providing personalized, compassionate care tailored to each pet and their family. She has practiced both general and shelter medicine in the Midwest and the Bay Area and has also volunteered internationally, caring for stray animals and supporting spay/neuter initiatives. Her goal is to foster a gentle, supportive environment where pet families feel heard, respected, and empowered to make informed decisions about their pets’ health.
In her spare time, Dr. Hou enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and practicing canine nose work with her mixed-breed dog, Ruthie. She finds immense joy in caring for her beloved companions—Mewlington the cat and Ruthie the dog.
